Dow Today: 8579. Dow One Year Ago Today: Record High 14,164

The credit crunch continues to take a toll on markets. The Dow was down 678 points today, to close at 8579, which is down 39.4% from a record high set one year ago today. So bad, it’s ridiculous. The best thing to do (and only thing for now) is laugh it off with this little skit buried in the Saturday night live lineup last week. So ridiculous, it’s good.
