Tonight’s Friday Funk installment is Cramp Your Style by LA funk masters @Breakestra. The perfect title to describe what the bond rout did to my world this week. But like all their songs, it’s also the perfect pick me up. This song was on a 2004 compilation by Thievery Corporation, a DC-based producing duo that’s globally worshiped for their chilled out interpretations of club music. But Thievery is a story for another Friday. Tonight is about Breakestra and since Cramp Your Style is short, I’m also including Stand Up, the opening track off their debut album in 2006, which is the perfect way to get your cool back for the weekend.
