Tonight’s Friday Funk installment is by Menahan Street Band, a new school funk outfit formed in 2007. Make The Road By Walking is a sure way to get your cool back for the weekend with it’s horn hook and a song title you can live by. And if the horn hook sounds familiar, it’s because the same year Menahan Street Band was formed, Jay Z released his American Gangster album and Roc Boys off that album samples this song.
