Jobless Claims (week ended 1/19/2013)

– Initial Claims (seasonally adjusted) 330,000.  Previous was 335,000 – 4-week Moving Average 351,750 – Unadjusted Claims were 436,766 – Total number receiving unemployment benefits in the week ending 1/5 was 5,659,760.

Adjusted Initial Claims indicate noticeable improvement in the jobs market.
