WTF is up with this iPhone 10th anniversary chart?

Today marks 10 years since the iPhone was released, and it did indeed change the world as shown in Recode’s collection of 10 charts. Well, all but the one about gum sales declining because people are too busy looking at their phones at checkout counters and ignoring the impulse buys.
