Rocktober 4: ‘Civil War’ Tribute To #OccupyWallStreet

Back before Axl Rose was forgetting lyrics on stage and taking 10 years to release crap concept albums, and back before Slash was relegated to opening riffs at Charlie Sheen’s roast, Guns N Roses was a heavyweight rock outfit. In 1991, their second release was a double album called Use Your Illusion and both albums have gone on to be certified 7x platinum. Heavyweight indeed.

For today’s Rocktober installment, I’m dedicating Civil War from Use Your Illusion II to the Occupy Wall Street protesters. My humorous poke at them is still valid, but I’ll give them credit for making a lot of noise this past week. So this one’s for the Occupiers and whatever it is that they’re trying to do.
