Breakdown of CFPB's 23,800 Mortgage Complaints

Today the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) released it’s semiannual report that shows they received 55,300 complaints from July 2011 to July 2012, of which 23,800 were mortgage related. Below are the breakdowns of all complaints as well as mortgage specific complaints. The biggest mortgage complaint volume is focused on foreclosures, loan modifications, and escrow accounts.
