How To Disable LinkedIn Popups on iPhone

I’ve been incredibly annoyed by LinkedIn popups that started invading my iPhone in the last two weeks, and guessing I’m not alone. The good news is that their customer service actually replied, and below I’m posting instructions on how to disable.

Subject: Disable pop up messages from Linkedin on my phone

We are excited to announce that version 4.2.2 of the LinkedIn iPhone Application was recently released in iTunes as well as the App Store. In this particular we added a new setting to disable the system notification for our new “Week in Review” feature.

Please download the new version from the App Store or visit iTunes at:

Once you have updated to the new version of the application, you can access it from within the app by going to the “You” page and tapping the Settings gear in the upper-right corner. Slide the Notifications selection to “Off”.

Most irritating app feature ever until you posted this. Thanks. It’s not intuitive at all and it’s very annoying.
