WSJ’s AI Short Film Proves Human Creativity Still Rules

WSJ just posted a short film made with AI, and it’s worth watching for these reasons:
First, it’s a pretty amazing look at how fast AI for creators is progressing.
Second, they break down exactly how they did it and what AI film tools they used.
Third, one of those tools is the same video editing tools everyone uses today.
Fourth, it’s just as labor intensive for small creative teams (as opposed to giant studios) as video is today, albeit with less need to shoot on locations.
Fifth, this generally proves human creativity still rules and high-quality content using AI still needs great minds at the controls.
At least for now…
AI video tools like Google’s Veo 3 and Runway can make scenes. Here’s a tutorial from WSJ’s Joanna Stern and Jarrard Cole.
