Rocktober 3: Home Sweet Home

Housing is still hurting and will be for awhile. Below are select headlines from the last week alone. But the concept of Home Sweet Home is undeniable. A September Trulia survey showed 70% of Americans see owning a home as part of their American Dream, 80% plan to buy a home in the future, and 57% say owning a home is one of the best long-term investments they can personally make.

So today’s Rocktober installment is Home Sweet Home by glam rock kings Motley Crue. If Trulia turned their polling resources to music and asked people about appeal of this 1985 song, it would score similarly high. Definitely one of the great power ballads and hair metal songs of all time.
