8 in 10 U.S. adults use YouTube, and here’s how rest of social sites rank

 
 

Jeffrey Gottfried at Pew Research has some good data on which social media platforms are the most used in 2024.

With 83% of adults using YouTube, and TikTok growing so fast since 2021, we’re reminded how much everyone loves video.

I was surprised to see LinkedIn so sixth on the ranking list with 30% of adults using it.

Pew Research says YouTube and Facebook are by far the most used social sites, but TikTok has grown a lot: 33% use it in 2024 now vs. 21% in 2021.
