Time to get your cool back for the weekend with tonight’s Friday Funk installment from Speedometer, a UK funk outfit formed 15 years ago and named because they started playing cuts by funk foundation band the Meters. Then they started their own faster paced Meters-inspired originals, and their name was born. Here’s some Speedometer 101. May it help you slow down from the long week.
