It’s been a rough start to 2022 for mortgage rates, with rates spiking .375% very quickly — from 3.25% at the end of December . The link below is Matt Graham from Mortgage News Daily explaining why this happened, and whether we’re in for more of the same — or whether it evens out from here.

Is the worst over for this abrupt move toward higher rates? The answer is a definitive "maybe!" It might even be "probably." Rates may indeed go higher but the pace may be moderating from here.
